Monochromatic Examples

Example 1

Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of monochromatic things was difficult. I had a hard time trying to figure out what looked monochromatic and what didn’t. So, I apologize if these pictures aren’t monochromatic, but I tried my best. In my opinion, these examples look monochromatic because they are in varying shades of browns and greens. But, then again we never really learned about this, just covered the basics, so we knew what to take a picture of.

Rule of Thirds Examples

Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of rule of thirds was hard at first because I didn’t know how to do it. But later on I found out what to do and it turned out to be super easy. All we had to do was find a picture and split it into thirds and two-thirds of it had to be filled up with two different images, while one-third of it had to be blank. I would like to thank my fellow classmates for letting me use them for these examples. All of these pictures were taken on the bridge and in the soccer field around our school campus.

Close Up Examples

Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of close ups was also very easy. The only challenge I had was because of the camera. Every time I would take a picture of something up close, it would come out all blurry and weird looking, but then again I was using an iPod. So, I apologize for the blurry pictures but, I tried my best to find good pictures. Other than that, finding what to take a close up of was also a challenge.

Bugs Eye View Examples

Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of bugs eye view was very easy. It was only easy because you could take a picture of anything. The only thing you needed to do to make it bugs eye view was to point the camera up and take the picture basically upside down and make everything in the picture look super huge. So basically we had to take pictures of what things would look like from a bug’s perceptive. All of these pictures were taken around the campus on the bridge and in the soccer field.

Shape Examples

Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of shapes was as easy as finding examples for lines. Our campus has a lot of different shapes lying around the place. So, it wasn’t that hard to find one and take a picture of it. But these examples that are on here, I think display the meaning of shape clearly. You can see that example one is a triangle, examples two, four and five are circles and the example three is of a rectangle.

Line Examples

Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of lines was super easy. There are examples of lines everywhere you look in our life, so this part was not as challenging as others. All of these examples were found around the campus. I took these pictures for examples of line because they looked better than most of the others that I took and I look they showed the example of line the best and clearly. All of these examples show implied lines, not indirect lines.

Complimentary Colors Examples

Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

Finding examples of complimentary colors was challenging. But, I managed to find at least one example of each complimentary color. Finding the blue and orange examples were probably the easiest ones because they were all over the playground and you couldn’t really miss it. Finding the red and green one was a little bit more challenging, but I found two pictures of it around the campus. For the purple and yellow example, I must give credit to Kenya and Madison for showing us this example because if they hadn’t, I wouldn’t have an example of purple and yellow.  Other than that, I think finding examples of complimentary colors wasn’t as difficult as the other ones.

Repetition Examples

Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5

Reflection:

To me, finding examples of repetition was easy. A lot of things around our school have patterns that we could have used for this particular part. Most of these examples were found on the school building and some were found around playground. There were many more examples of repetition, but I chose to take pictures of these and post them on this blog. These examples, to me, all represent repetition very well and you can clearly see where that is.
